Transitions can be rough. Whether it's, graduating college and joining the workforce in young adulthood, or getting married, becoming a new mother or switching careers in adulthood. I can still remember feeling overwhelmed and stressed by all the changes happening around me, both internally and externally, as I navigated through the different transitions of young adulthood, and adulthood. I can also recall finding it difficult to describe or explain what was going on at times. I found myself drawn to finding expressive forms, like art making, when I needed to process these big feelings and experiences.
Transition points in our lives can be even tougher if you don’t have a good support system in place, including someone you can really talk to about both your worries and your dreams. I remember seeing friends and family struggling and often found myself being the person they turned to when they needed validation and guidance. This is what started me on the journey to becoming a therapist. I have found that I still love being that “person” for others. I enjoy being a sounding board and helping people learn to navigate these stressful, but also exciting times in life. My love of art, and it’s ability to express our deepest experiences when words fail us, then lead me to incorporating art therapy.
I have a passion in working with young adults, adults, and new mothers who struggle with transition points, stress management, boundaries, and identity exploration which includes sense of purpose, career, self and gender. I offer my clients a space to be truly seen and heard just as they are; messy, creative, and eager to take on life.
My mission is to help my clients find balance in their lives, confidence in their abilities, and embrace the power of their creativity in order to find unique solutions to their struggles.

Treatment Approach
By taking an eclectic approach to my therapy practice, I can tailor the therapeutic experience to each individual in order to help them reach their goals. I incorporate humanistic, person-centered, cognitive, and art therapy approaches in my work with clients to help them break old patterns and learn new ways of handling life. By taking this approach to treatment my client’s notice an improvement in their quality of life, ability to manage life stressors, self-esteem and self-confidence and healthier emotional boundaries. Client’s also report a reduction in symptoms of distress such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, isolation, and emotional dysrergulation.
